As festividades de emancipação política da cidade Campos Sales, governada pelo prefeito Moesio Loiola (PDT) foram das mais concorridas da sua história de 118 anos, comemorada no dia 29 de julho.
Comitivas de várias Regiões do Ceará e cidades de Piauí estiveram prestigiando a semana de festividades sociais e inaugurações que marcaram a administração de um ex-deputado estadual com histórico de participar inclusive na década de 80 da Assembleia Constituinte que elaborou a Constituição Política do Estado do Ceará.
De político de oratória destacada no parlamento, Moésio Loiola (PDT) passou a ser também um grande executivo dividindo com sua equipe os desafios de administrar uma cidade do interior em tempos de tantas turbulências na gestão pública.
No decorrer dos dias 26 a 29 de julho do corrente ano Campos Sales além de comemorar uma linda festa de emancipação politica também foi palco da realização do Circuito de Negócios Integrados Cariri Oeste. Evento realizado com parceria entre Prefeitura Municipal e Governo do Estado, trouxe para o município a Expoararipe 2017, festival gastronômico, feira agroecológica dos produtos da agricultura familiar da região, festival de negócios Sebrae. Na oportunidade, a população também pode apreciar vários shows musicais, apresentados pelos artistas da região.
Com certeza não poderíamos deixar de citar a Furiosa. Uma passeata que acontece todos os anos pelas principais ruas da cidade. Liderada pela Orquestra municipal Lauro Honorato, a população realiza sempre ao amanhecer do dia 29 uma linda festa pelas ruas do município.
