Em Campos Sales, o prefeito Moésio Loiola (PDT) continua preocupado com a questão hídrica. O município enfrenta pelo sétimo ano consecutivo período de estiagem. Determinado a levar água para as famílias campossalenses, Moésio tem buscado alternativas junto ao Governo do Estado e nesta quinta-feira (16) foi recebido em Fortaleza pelo secretário de Agricultura do Estado, Dedé Teixeira.
No encontro, o Secretário assegurou o envio imediato de carros-pipas para bastecer 9 comunidades no município de Campos Sales, com a promessa de avaliar a possibilidade do benefício ser estendido nos próximos dias para outras comunidades rurais.
Ainda na conversa entre Moésio Loiola e Dedé Teixeira, o prefeito colocou à disposição do governo estadual, a fazenda Itaguá, no distrito do mesmo nome, para ser contemplada dentro do projeto Paulo Freires, que prevê a criação de fazendas-modelo para servir de plantação de algodão. “Esse projeto vai contemplar oito municípios e queremos Campos Sales incluído o projeto que vai beneficiar dezenas de familiares rurais”, explica Moésio Loiola.
