Na sexta-feira, 9 de fevereiro – véspera de carnaval – será creditado na conta das prefeituras o repasse do Fundo Municípios (FPM), referente ao 1º decêndio de fevereiro. O montante totaliza R$ 6,121 bilhões, já com os descontos do Fundo de Manutenção e Desenvolvimento da Educação Básica (Fundeb). Em valores brutos, o primeiro repasse é de R$ 7,651 bilhões.
A equipe de Estudos Técnicos da Confederação Nacional de Municípios (CNM) acompanha periodicamente os valores depositados para as prefeituras. No comparativo com o primeiro decêndio de fevereiro de 2017, este repasse de foi 14,22% maior. O percentual não considera os efeitos da inflação. Se for levada em conta nos cálculos, o aumento do FPM no período chega a 11,74%.
O cenário de alta também se mantém quando são analisados todos os repasses efetuados de janeiro até o 1º decêndio de fevereiro. Nesse período de 2017, o FPM somou R$ 14,317 bilhões, enquanto que em 2018 o valor já atingiu a marca dos R$ 15,730 bilhões.
