O presidente do Senado, Eunício Oliveira (MDB-CE) se reuniu com o presidente da Câmara dos Deputados, Rodrigo Maia (DEM-RJ) que, acompanhado do líder do governo na Câmara dos Deputados Aguinaldo Ribeiro (PP-PB) e do líder do governo no Congresso Nacional, André Moura (PSC-BA), tratou de medidas para reduzir o preço do diesel e da gasolina.
O presidente do Senado, Eunício Oliveira garantiu que Senado e Câmara estão juntos trabalhando desde domingo para encontrar uma solução para reduzir o preço dos combustíveis.
“Buscamos uma solução para que a população brasileira possa sentir no Congresso Nacional a verdadeira palavra dos interesses dos consumidores, sem prejudicar o Brasil”, defendeu Eunício.
Eunício ainda levou a questão ao plenário do Senado e disse que vai intensificar sua mobilização. “Estamos aqui refletindo a indignação de toda a população”, disse.
De acordo com Rodrigo Maia, entre as propostas definidas para auxiliar na redução do preço dos combustíveis está a aprovação do Projeto de Lei (PL) 8456/2017, que tramita na Câmara dos Deputados e trata da reoneração previdenciária que teve pedido de urgência aprovada em março e deste ano.
“Nós já trabalhamos junto com o governo para zerar a Cide [Contribuição de Intervenção de Domínio Eletrônico] também do diesel e da gasolina para que possamos minimizar os efeitos do aumento dos combustíveis”, disse Maia.
