O governador Camilo Santana participou, nesta segunda-feira (4), da abertura do seminário Prefeitos Ceará 2018. Com a presença de gestores municipais de todo o Estado, o evento traz na edição deste ano o tema ‘Governança e Transparência”, com o objetivo de fomentar o debate e promover um intercâmbio para alcançar melhores práticas de gestão. Em seu discurso na solenidade, o chefe do Executivo destacou o papel do Ceará como o estado mais transparente do Brasil e lembrou aos prefeitos dos 184 municípios a importância de buscar cada dia mais o equilíbrio nas finanças.
“Todos os indicadores do Ceará melhoraram nos últimos anos. Do ponto de vista fiscal, somos o estado mais transparente do Brasil. E também o estado que mais fez investimento público no País. Aqui neste evento quero colocar o Governo à disposição para que os municípios possam se modernizar e ter ferramentas de controle e gestão mais eficientes, não só nos gastos como também nas receitas municipais”, disse.
Camilo elogiou os esforços das administrações de cada cidade cearense que, mesmo em momento de crise econômica e política do País e das dificuldades de um Estado pobre e que enfrenta anos de seca, tem tido zelo na prestação de contas e manutenção de investimentos para melhorar a qualidade de vida da população cearense.

O evento é promovido pela Associação dos Municípios do Estado do Ceará (Aprece) e discute os desafios da realidade de administrar uma cidade, como por exemplo, atração de investimentos, qualidade da educação pública, gestão de projetos, planejamento para o desenvolvimento urbano entre outros. A programação vai até o fim da tarde desta terça-feira (5).
