Seis deputados federais que representam o Ceará em Brasília gastaram mais de R$ 100 mil com gastos relacionadas à locação ou fretamento de aeronaves. Os valores representam os gastos de cada parlamentar na atual legislatura, que começou em fevereiro de 2015, e estão disponíveis no site da Câmara dos Deputados.
O campeão de gastos com locação ou fretamento de aeronaves é o deputado Genecias Noronha, com R$ 218 mil. Adail Carneiro é o segundo, com R$ 201 mil. Odorico Monteiro, o terceiro, com R$ 162 mil. Raimundo Gomes de Matos vem em quarto lugar, com R$ 145 mil. Domingos Neto, R$ 124 mil. E José Airton, R$ 121 mil. Somados, esses seis parlamentares têm despesas de R$ 973.209 mil.
As despesas relacionadas à locação ou fretamento de aeronaves são custeadas pela chamada cota para o exercício da atividade parlamentar. Também são pagos com esses recursos passagens aéreas, hospedagem, locação de veículos e combustíveis, entre outros gastos. Apesar de informar as despesas, a página da Câmara não faz maiores detalhamentos, como a origem e o destino das viagens.
A título de comparação, segundo o Dieese, a cesta básica em Fortaleza tinha o valor de R$ 378,98 em abril. Somente os gastos do deputado Genecias Noronha seriam suficientes para custear a renda média de 157 cearenses ou mesmo 576 cestas básicas. Para o trabalhador comum, que vive uma realidade distante da viagem de avião, fretamento ou locação de aeronave, é um benefício polêmico.
