O Governo do Ceará entrega, nesta segunda-feira (25), 150 novos veículos para a Polícia Militar. No total, 466 novos automóveis foram adquiridos para a área da segurança pública.
Os veículos foram adquiridos por meio de aluguel, conforme novo modelo de locação adotado pelo Governo do Estado. Segundo o governo, o aluguel permite que os carros sejam substituídos com mais agilidade em caso de avarias, como acidentes e problemas mecânicos.
Os 150 carros que serão destinados à PM são das marcas e modelos Jeep Renegade e Renault Duster e já contam com toda a estrutura para as funções policiais. No total, o governo prevê a distribuição de 200 Renegade e 266 Duster para a polícia.
