Os juízes do Tribunal Regional Eleitoral do Ceará já deferiram 657 registros de candidaturas, atingindo a marca de mais de 70% dos processos julgados. Até o momento, 9 registros foram indeferidos, 15 renúncias foram homologadas e 227 pedidos ainda aguardam julgamento.
No total, foram protocolados no TRE 908 pedidos de registro, sendo 6 para o cargo de governador, 6 para vice-governador, 13 para senador, 263 para deputado federal, 595 para deputado estadual, 13 para 1º suplente de senador e 12 para 2º suplente de senador. Em todo o Brasil, foram protocolados 28.864 pedidos.
Dos registros deferidos no Ceará, 4 foram para o cargo de governador: Guilherme Cals Theóphilo Gaspar de Oliveira e Francisco das Chagas Gonzaga (em 12/9); Camilo Santana (28/8), e Hélio Góis (27/8); 4 para vice-governador; 6 candidatos a senador, acompanhados dos suplentes, e os suplentes e 631 para cargos proporcionais.
A grande maioria dos processos têm sido julgada de forma monocrática pelos juízes relatores. Os juízes da Corte do TRE envidarão esforços para concluir os julgamentos até a próxima segunda-feira, 17 de setembro, prazo previsto na legislação eleitoral.
