A boa notícia de que o Fundo de Participação dos Municípios (FPM) referente ao 2º decêndio do mês será creditado na sexta-feira, 19 de outubro, vem acompanhada de um cenário que exige cautela da administração local. As contas das prefeituras brasileiras receberão R$ 544.079.326,90, já descontada a retenção do Fundo de Manutenção e Desenvolvimento da Educação Básica e de Valorização dos Profissionais da Educação (Fundeb). Em valores brutos, incluindo o Fundeb, o montante é de R$ 680.099.158,63.
O repasse é 15,38% menor que o previsto pela STN e, por isso, a Confederação Nacional de Municípios (CNM) alerta que os gestores atuem de forma prudente no planejamento e uso dos recursos para não serem pegos de surpresa com resultados e projeções inesperados.
