O Governo do Ceará, por meio da Secretaria do Meio Ambiente (Sema), divulga os resultados do Programa Selo Município Verde (PSMV) e Certificação Praia Limpa, nesta quarta-feira (21), às 15hs, durante solenidade no Auditório do Iate Plaza Hotel, na Av. Beira Mar, 4573, bairro Mucuripe, em Fortaleza.
Para o secretário Artur Bruno, é um reconhecimento do Governo do Estado, aos municípios que estão fazendo a diferença na área ambiental.
O Selo Município Verde é um Programa de Certificação Ambiental Pública que “identifica os municípios cearenses que desenvolveram ações protetivas do meio ambiente com melhores resultados na salvaguarda ambiental, atendendo a critérios de conservação e uso sustentável dos recursos naturais”.
A Certificação Praia Limpa é um “programa de governo que concede um selo de certificação ambiental aos municípios que atenderem aos critérios de gestão ambiental, definidos em conformidade com os princípios da legislação ambiental vigente no País”. Ambas as certificações acontecem de dois em dois anos.
