A segunda parcela do Imposto sobre a Propriedade de Veículos Automotores (IPVA) 2019 vence na sexta-feira (08) após o Carnaval. Os contribuintes que não quitaram a primeira parcela do imposto, que venceu no dia 08 de fevereiro, ainda podem efetuar o pagamento. Para isso, basta acessar o site da Secretaria da Fazenda do Estado (Sefaz) e imprimir o boleto do IPVA atualizado, com o acréscimo de juros e multa de 0,15% ao dia, até o limite de 15% sobre o valor do imposto. O Documento de Arrecadação do Estado (DAE) será gerado mediante a informação do chassi do veículo, ou da placa e do número do Renavam (Registro Nacional de Veículos Automotores).
O pagamento pode ser feito normalmente nos bancos Caixa Econômica, Bradesco, Banco do Brasil (BB), Banco do Nordeste do Brasil (BNB), Santander, Itaú, nas casas lotéricas e na rede de farmácias Pague Menos. Quem preferir pode realizar o pagamento do imposto por meio dos cartões de crédito vinculados ao Banco do Brasil ou Bradesco.

A parcela única do IPVA 2019 com o desconto de 5% sobre o valor total do tributo venceu em 31 de janeiro. Aproximadamente 677 mil contribuintes optaram pela forma de pagamento com o abatimento. Para os contribuintes que escolheram parcelar o imposto, ainda restam quatro parcelas, que devem ser pagas nos dias 8 de março, 8 de abril, 8 de maio e 10 de junho. Até o momento, cerca de 780 mil donos de veículos já acertaram o pagamento da primeira parcela.
Para chegar aos valores constantes nas tabelas do IPVA, a Sefaz considerou a tabela divulgada pela Fundação Instituto de Pesquisas Econômicas (Fipe), que expressa os preços médios de mercado dos veículos, efetivamente praticados por Estado, e consulta ao Sindicato dos Revendedores de Veículos Automotores do Ceará (Sindivel).
Este ano, 2.271.067 veículos serão tributados, com uma previsão de arrecadação de R$ 1.001.864.000,00, sendo que 50% desse valor pertence ao Tesouro Estadual e os outros 50% são destinados aos municípios cearenses.
Desde 2015, a Sefaz não envia cobranças do IPVA pelos Correios. Todos os boletos para pagamento encontram-se disponíveis aos contribuintes no site da Secretaria.
