Com menos de 6 meses em que o açude foi entregue a comunidade, o mesmo já apresenta uma boa quantidade de água, tudo graças às fortes chuvas que vem caindo desde então.
Segundo moradores daquela localidade, a comunidade vai ter como desenvolver projetos não só através da criação de animais como também através de plantios de hortaliças, frutas e verduras nas margens do açude. Um crescimento! Um desenvolvimento que vai favorecer não só os filhos do Assentamento Arizona, como também de toda a região do Acoci. Todo o cultivo e as criações irão beneficiar o comércio local, que desde já exporta para outros. Isso significa, um aumento de produção e ao mesmo tempo um aumento de renda para os filhos da terra.
