A Guarda Civil espanhola deteve nesta terça-feira no aeroporto de Sevilha um militar brasileiro de 38 anos que havia transportado 39 quilos de cocaína em um avião da FAB integrado à comitiva do presidente Jair Bolsonaro, segundo confirmaram fontes da corporação policial ao EL PAÍS.
A prisão ocorreu durante uma escala do avião reserva da presidência em Sevilha, no sul da Espanha, rumo a Osaka, onde Bolsonaro participará da reunião do G-20.
O ministério brasileiro de Defesa emitiu nota confirmando a detenção do militar por tráfico de entorpecentes, e anunciou a abertura de um inquérito para apurar o ocorrido.
Bolsonaro também escreveu um tuíte sobre o fato. Fontes da Guarda Civil disseram que a detecção da droga e a posterior detenção do militar ocorreram quando os membros da tripulação e suas bagagens passaram pelo controle alfandegário obrigatório após a chegada a Sevilha.
Ao abrir a mala de mão os agentes encontraram 39 tijolos de um quilo cada. “Não estava nem mesmo escondido entre as roupas”, disseram fontes da Guarda.
As autoridades da Espanha agora querem saber qual era o destino final da droga.
