O governador Camilo Santana se reuniu com o capitão dos Portos do Ceará, capitão de mar-e-guerra Madson Cardoso, e integrantes do grupo de trabalho que têm acompanhado as ocorrências de óleo nas praias cearenses.
Em discussão, as ações que vêm sendo realizadas há algumas semanas e mais intervenções de prevenção.
Mesmo o Ceará tendo sido um dos estados menos atingidos pelas manchas de óleo o governador Camilo Santana determinou ao grupo de trabalho intensificar as ações de prevenção a fim de preservar o litoral cearense e reduzir o impacto na fauna e flora marítimas.
De acordo com o coronel Eduardo Holanda, comandante do Corpo de Bombeiros, são realizados sobrevoos diários por todo o litoral cearense (573 km) para identificar novas manchas de óleo.
Além da atuação de campo, o grupo de trabalho permanece com uma equipe baseada dentro da Marinha para realizar o trabalho de prevenção e o planejamento de novas intervenções.
Segundo o secretário do Meio Ambiente, Artur Bruno, hoje acontece uma nova reunião entre a força-tarefa para operacionalizar o plano de contenção elaborado na última sexta-feira, que inclui o trabalho de contenção da foz dos rios Curu e Jaguaribe.
