Foi realizado neste dia 10 de outubro de 2019 a 10° edição do pedal da chapada. Um evento de MTB que reuniu atletas(Ciclistas) de vários estados para uma disputa de 3 horas em uma trilha de aproximadamente 10km dentro da floresta na Cidade do Crato(FLONA DO ARARIPE).
O evento é realizado anualmente pela loja Beto Ciclo que já tem em seu currículo uma história de muita organização não só no Crato como também em todas as competições da região na qual sempre é convidado para se fazer presente.
A competição prêmiou todos os participantes com medalhas, troféus para os cinco primeiros colocados de cada categoria e uma premiação em dinheiro para os primeiros colocados na categoria Elite.
Jovens, adultos, homens e mulheres que juntos abrilhantam ainda mais o ciclismo(MTB) se fizermos presentes nas 3horas no último domingo. Ciclistas experientes como o Sr Marcos Melo que já participou de muitas competições como também o novato Ismael que saiu de uma cirurgia a 4 meses e vem se destacando no MTB local.
Quem também fez bonito foi as mulheres e os ciclistas acima de 50 anos, deram um show de velocidade e habilidades dentro do circuito. Como nos contou o veterano Marcos Aurélio que chegou em 4° na categoria master c1 acima de 50anos. “Uma prova show e com muita dificuldade, que sai na frente quem tá preparado” disse o mesmo. Apoio também é muito importante na prova, pois não se pode parar momento algum destacou o mesmo.
