O governador Camilo Santana (PT) disse ontem que irá processar o candidato tucano ao Governo do Estado, General Theophilo, por acusá-lo de comprar apoio de prefeitos do PSDB no Interior com promessa de obras.
“Eu vou entrar com processo contra ele (General) porque só anda mentindo nesta eleição”, disse o petista durante ato de campanha ontem. “Eleição não se faz com mentira, se faz com proposta”, afirmou.
Camilo, que concorre à reeleição, participou de adesivaço na esquina das avenidas Desembargador Moreira e Abolição.
Um dia antes, Theophilo havia afirmado ao O POVO que o governador tem cortejado gestores da sigla. “Muito prefeito do PSDB, que deveria estar me apoiando, não está. E não está por quê?”, perguntou o militar da reserva.
“Porque está sendo vendido para a situação, para o governador Camilo, que constrói uma estrada, que faz uma escola, que inaugura uma obra desnecessária. Esse tipo de política eu não faço.”
O tucano voltou a se queixar da falta de apoio dentro da legenda e disse que, no Ceará, “dar aulas é muito mais tranquilo do que fazer política”.
O General se referia às baixas que a chapa vem sofrendo desde o início da disputa. Ele chegou a comparar a própria situação com a do presidenciável Geraldo Alckmin (PSDB), que sofre deserção de integrantes de partidos do “centrão”.
De acordo com Camilo, “ele (General) tem que propor o que quer fazer no Ceará, porque, até agora, não vi nada”. Segundo pesquisa Ibope mais recente, divulgada em agosto, o petista lidera a corrida ao Palácio da Abolição, com 64% da preferência do eleitorado cearense, à frente do adversário tucano, com 4%.
Questionado sobre representação que o PSDB moveu contra a sua candidatura com base em delação dos irmãos Wesley e Joesley Batista, do grupo JBS, Camilo disse que “não nem iria comentar”.
O prazo para mudança ou substituição de candidatos que disputam eleições em 2018 se esgotou na última sexta-feira, conforme o calendário definido pelo Tribunal Superior Eleitoral (TSE).
