As prefeituras recebem na quinta-feira, 20 de setembro, o 2º decêndio do Fundo de Participação dos Municípios (FPM) que apresenta queda no repasse. O montante da partilha é de R$ 473, 5 milhões já descontada a retenção do Fundo de Manutenção e Desenvolvimento da Educação Básica e de Valorização dos Profissionais da Educação (Fundeb). A Confederação Nacional de Municípios (CNM) reitera o alerta aos prefeitos para que mantenham cautela na gestão dos recursos, principalmente neste segundo semestre quando a tendência é de diminuição nos valores transferidos aos entes locais.
Em valores brutos, ou seja, incluindo o Fundeb, o montante a ser repassado aos Municípios é de R$ 591, 9 milhões. De acordo com os dados da Secretária do Tesouro Nacional (STN), o 2º decêndio de setembro de 2018, comparado com mesmo período de 2017, apresentou queda de 4,31% em termos nominais. Nesse caso, foi comparado os valores sem considerar os efeitos da inflação.
Já quando o valor do repasse é deflacionado e comparado ao mesmo período de 2017, a transferência do FPM apresenta redução de 8,01%, ou seja, levando em consideração a inflação do período.
