Pelo segundo ano consecutivo, o Estado do Ceará foi reconhecido pelo Banco Interamericano de Desenvolvimento (BID) como um dos destaques do país em gestão fazendária e transparência fiscal.
Na manhã desta quarta-feira (17), em Brasília, o governador Camilo Santana assinou, na sede do BID, a linha de crédito para o Programa de Modernização da Gestão Fiscal no Brasil (Profisco II), no valor de US$ 70 milhões (cerca de R$ 260 milhões) – o Governo do Ceará entra com contrapartida de US$ 7 milhões.
Segundo o representante do BID no Brasil, Hugo Flores Timoran, o Estado foi, pelo segundo ano seguido, a primeira unidade da federação a assinar o Profisco, o que coloca o Ceará como exemplo de gestão fiscal.
Para assinar o Profisco II, o Estado do Ceará atendeu novamente aos critérios colocados pelo BID, como estar adimplente com as obrigações tributárias, não ter endividamento comprometido em mais de duas vezes a Receita Corrente Líquida e ter cumprido os limites estabelecidos pela Lei de Responsabilidade Fiscal (LRF), entre outras.
