A Academia Estadual de Segurança Pública do Ceará (AESP-CE), localizada em Fortaleza, recebeu na manhã desta quinta-feira (1) a segunda turma de aprovados no concurso para oficiais da Polícia Miltar do Ceará. O curso de formação vai contar com a participação de 250 alunos. Na oportunidade, o governador Camilo Santana participou da aula inaugural.
O concurso foi realizado em 2013. Na primeira turma de aprovados, 183 tenentes foram nomeados. Os oficiais das corporações militares são os responsáveis por desempenhar funções de comando e gestão direta com a tropa. Além de gerenciar recursos humanos e logísticos da corporação.
O curso de formação profissional é a terceira etapa do certame, que conta ainda com avaliação psicológica, teste de capacidade física e investigação social, todos de caráter eliminatório. A formação dos novos tenentes é promovida pela AESP durante três semestres letivos, cuja carga-horária total é de 2.720 horas/aula.
Durante o curso, os aprovados vão receber instruções teóricas e práticas de técnica policial militar; policiamento ostensivo geral; polícia comunitária; planejamento operacional; inteligência em segurança pública; tiro policial defensivo; defesa pessoal; gestão da qualidade; gerenciamento de crises; elaboração e gestão de projetos, além de conhecimentos da área jurídica e de diversas modalidades de policiamento.
O governador Camilo Santana destacou a necessidade da contratação de mais oficiais para comandar o efetivo da Polícia Militar do Ceará que vem crescendo nos últimos anos.
