O Prefeito Moésio Loiola, reuniu-se nesta segunda feira, 05 de novembro de 2018, com os Secretários de Governo-Regislane Rocha, Recursos Hídricos e Meio Ambiente-Ezequiel Oliveira, Obras e Urbanismo-Wanderson Costa, Desenvolvimento Agrário-Ivete Fortaleza junto à Equipe Técnica do escritório regional da CAGECE para fins de firmar parceria visando a ampliação e modernização de todo o Sistema de Saneamento Básico na sede do Município.
Inicialmente a CAGECE comprometeu-se em apresentar ao município a partir de um projeto de Planta Iluminada as ruas a inicialmente a serem beneficiadas com o novo sistema de Saneamento, apontado a Rua Genezaré, no bairro Poço como referência para a implantação e solução dos problemas de esgotamento sanitário.
A CAGECE, a longo prazo, comprometeu-se também em mudar todo o sistema de abastecimento de água do município, que construído na década de 70 com material obsoleto já não responde com satisfação as necessidades da comunidade tendo que para isso afetar as pavimentações ou calçamentos das ruas, com tudo assumindo a inteira responsabilidade para recuperação de toda a malha urbana onde as obras de modernização afetarem a estrutura.
O prefeito e os Secretários entregaram aos representantes da CAGECE documento contendo a lista com as ruas e travessas a receberem, neste primeiro momento, a drenagem e sistema de saneamento básico. São elas:
Bairro Portal da Cidade: Travessa Maria de Lourdes Morais;
Bairro Centenário: Rua Brasil;
Bairro Batalhão: Ruas Sá Barreto, João Antonio da Silva, Isabel Mendes, Mãe Quinô, Rua da Glória, João Paulo II, e travessa Pereira Filgueira;
Bairro Guarani: Rua Itamar Lúcio de Alencar, São Luiz, Dr. Clóvis, Celerino N. Arraiz, Clovis Pereira Gomes e na rua Valmir Lúcio de Alencar;
Bairro N. Sra. Aparecida: Rua Cicero Simão Filho, João Romão Filho, Travessa Gegezaré e rua Santa Luzia;
Bairro Alto Alegre: Ruas do Patriarca, Tim Maia, Jacó Cortez e do Fuso.
Válido ressaltar que o processo é lendo, responsavelmente elaborado, maduro e com o objetivo de fazer que o município de Campos Sales acompanhe em seu sistema de saneamento básico e distribuição de água as exigências próprias da modernização e firme-se como referência também numa nova realidade de pavimentação, saneamento e urbanização na região do Cariri.
