O governador inspecionou nesta segunda-feira, em Crateús, as obras da Barragem de Fronteiras, que terá 488 milhões de m3 de água e beneficiará 300 mil pessoas em Crateús e municípios da região. Camilo Santana estava com o presidente do Senado, Eunício Oliveira, e o ministro da Integração Nacional, Pádua Andrade. No local, aproveitou para conversar com operários da obra e moradores que serão beneficiados com o açude.
A Barragem de Fronteiras gera atualmente 564 empregos e será fundamental para garantir o abastecimento de todo o Sertão de Crateús. São investimentos de R$ 180 milhões.
