O governador Camilo Santana e o ministro da Segurança Pública, Raul Jungmann, inauguram, a partir das 11h de hoje, o Centro Integrado de Inteligência de Segurança Pública Regional – Nordeste. A cerimônia de instalação do equipamento ocorre no Palácio Iracema (Centro Administrativo Bárbara de Alencar), no bairro Edson Queiroz.
O espaço vai reunir profissionais de segurança dos nove estados nordestinos e de forças de segurança e justiça de órgãos regionais e nacionais.
O Ceará foi escolhido, por unanimidade, entre os estados nordestinos para receber o Centro, em virtude dos investimentos e do trabalho de Inteligência já adiantado que o Estado realiza. Participam ainda da solenidade governadores de outros estados nordestinos, o presidente do Congresso Federal, senador Eunício Oliveira, e autoridades do sistema de segurança e justiça.
Para o secretário André Costa, o Centro Integrado de Inteligência vai oferecer condições para que sejam executadas ações de segurança pública.
