O governador Camilo Santana e a vice-governadora Izolda Cela receberam nesta quarta-feira (19) a diplomação do Tribunal Regional Eleitoral do Ceará (TRE-CE) para o segundo mandato à frente da gestão do Governo do Ceará. A cerimônia foi realizada no Centro de Eventos.
Na ocasião, também foram diplomados os senadores Cid Gomes e Luís Eduardo Girão, os 46 deputados estaduais e os 22 deputados federais eleitos nas Eleições de 2018. Presidente do TRE-CE, a desembargadora Maria Nailde Pinheiro Nogueira, presidiu a entrega dos títulos para os representantes do Executivo e Legislativo pelos próximos quatro anos.
Camilo Santana garantiu a reeleição ao cargo de governador, no pleito realizado no último mês de outubro, com vitória em 1º turno somando 79,95% dos votos válidos no Estado. O chefe do Executivo estadual chegou ao evento solene acompanhado da primeira-dama, Onélia Santana, e dos filhos. Em entrevista, agradeceu a confiança do eleitorado cearense no seu projeto de governo.
O governador enfatizou ainda que seguirá trabalhando com planejamento e investimentos para o Ceará continuar equilibrado e em pleno desenvolvimento.
