Na tarde de hoje 19, o deputado federal Moses Rodrigues (MDB/CE) ocupou a tribuna da Câmara dos Deputados para falar da sua satisfação em chegar ao seu segundo mandato, onde de acordo com ele, será ainda mais positivo que o primeiro devido ao atual cenário de renovação pelo qual o Brasil está passando. “Volto ainda mais otimista que no meu primeiro mandato, pois o país vive hoje um período de transformações. Aos poucos, estamos virando uma página que ficou marcada por escândalos”.
Em seu discurso, o parlamentar frisou a importância da Reforma da Previdência como benefício para a sociedade e crescimento do país. “Não estamos falando de uma reforma qualquer. Precisamos analisar linha a linha do novo texto, para que mudanças não prejudiquem os trabalhadores, principalmente, aqueles de renda mais baixa, mas que promova o corte de privilégios dos que ganham mais e promova a justiça Social”, afirmou o deputado.
Na ocasião, Moses fez ainda uma prestação de contas do seu primeiro mandato. Sendo o parlamentar cearense que mais destinou recurso para o Estado, ele citou os principais feitos de seu trabalho na última legislatura como a destinação de R$ 12 milhões para a pavimentação asfáltica de Viçosa do Ceará, R$ 8 milhões de reais para o município de Carnaubal entre tantos outros municípios totalizando mais de R$ 200 milhões de reais para melhorias nas áreas da educação, saúde, pavimentação e segurança de seu estado natal.
Outro grande feito lembrado pelo o congressista foi o avanço do Projeto de Lei n° 5261/2016 de sua autoria que autoriza o Poder Executivo a instituir a Universidade Federal da Ibiapaba. A Instituição beneficiará quarenta e sete municípios que compõem a mesorregião do Noroeste cearense, cuja população é superior a mais de 1 milhão de habitantes. “Não podemos deixar de falar em educação, o principal caminho para o desenvolvimento de um país. Nossas ações precisam ser voltadas para nossas crianças e para nossos jovens. O futuro está com eles e o presente, conosco”, garantiu Moses.
