O governador Camilo Santana anunciou, nesta terça-feira (26), durante bate-papo com a população em suas redes sociais, o novo edital o AvanCE – Programa Bolsa Universitária. A iniciativa vai beneficiar 2 mil alunos que concluíram o Ensino Médio na rede pública estadual de ensino e que ingressaram em instituições de Ensino Superior. Os selecionados receberão um benefício no valor de R$ 468,50 durante 12 meses, totalizando um investimento de R$ 12 milhões.
O governador explicou que a ideia de oferecer esse auxílio aos estudantes surgiu após ouvir o depoimento de alunos que tinham dificuldade de se manterem no início da faculdade. “Esse é um programa importante que o Governo criou para que o aluno nunca desista do sonho de cursar uma universidade. Decidi criar esse programa ao escutar de universitários suas dificuldades. Essa é uma política pioneira que o Ceará criou. São duas mil vagas para que alunos de escola pública se inscrevam. Os estudantes terão acesso ao edital pelo site da Seduc (www.seduc.ce.gov.br)”, informou Camilo Santana.
Nesta segunda edição do AvanCE, metade das bolsas serão para alunos que ingressaram no Ensino Superior em 2018 e os outros 50% para estudantes que entraram na universidade em 2019. Para concorrer à bolsa o estudante deve ter ingressado em curso de graduação em Instituição de Ensino Superior (IES), credenciada pelo Ministério da Educação (MEC). É necessário cursar, no mínimo, 12 créditos de disciplinas do atual semestre letivo e ter frequência de, no mínimo, 75% em cada disciplina cursada. O candidato deve ter obtido média geral igual ou superior a 560 pontos no Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio (Enem), sendo válidas a edição de 2017 ou 2018. O aluno também deverá estar com o cadastro devidamente atualizado no Cadastro Único para Programas Sociais do Governo Federal (CadÚnico).
