A frota de veículos da Secretaria da Administração Penitenciária (SAP) será renovada a partir de hoje. São 85 viaturas equipadas para escoltas, rondas e operações penitenciárias em todas as regiões do Estado.
Os primeiros 50 carros serão entregues, logo mais. às 7h30 no Ginásio da Parangaba, com a presença do governador Camilo Santana e do secretário Mauro Albuquerque.
As viaturas serão distribuídas em 17 grandes unidades prisionais, 13 cadeias públicas masculinas e duas cadeias públicas femininas.
A Secretaria da Administração Penitenciária reunirá 33 carros, com um total de seis veículos descaracterizados. Também serão enviadas viaturas para o Grupo de Apoio Penitenciário e para o Grupo de Operações Regionais.
O secretário da SAP, Mauro Albuquerque, explica a importância da nova frota de veículos para o sistema prisional e para a melhoria das condições de trabalho dos agentes penitenciários.
