O Governo do Ceará entregou 18 novas viaturas para a Polícia Civil atuar na capital cearense e interior, além de auxiliar o trabalho das delegacias especializadas, como de Defesa da Mulher, Defraudações e Falsificações e Tráfico de Drogas. O investimento total foi de R$ 1.824.000,00.
A entrega ocorreu na reunião mensal de monitoramento do Programa Em Defesa da Vida, realizada na última terça-feira (14), na sede da Secretaria da Segurança Pública e Defesa Social (SSPDS).
O reforço das viaturas no modelo Jeep Renegade vem a acrescentar o pacote de 329 veículos entregues no último dia 11 de julho, sendo que 50 daquelas destinadas à Polícia Civil. Elas vão atuar nos municípios de Fortaleza, Icó, Crato, Juazeiro do Norte, Iguatu, Sobral, Quixadá, Jijoca de Jericoacoara, Acaraú e Aracati.
