Foi sancionada ontem a Lei 13.498/17 que concede aos professores prioridade no recebimento da restituição do Imposto de Renda da Pessoa Física (IRPF). A nova lei teve origem no Projeto de Lei 1465/11, do Senado, que foi aprovado pela Câmara dos Deputados em agosto.
O texto acrescenta dispositivo à Lei 9.250/95, que regulamenta o IRPF, para determinar que terão prioridade no recebimento da restituição do IR, logo após os idosos, os contribuintes cuja maior fonte de renda seja o magistério.
