Nesta sexta-feira (1), o governador Camilo Santana, acompanhado da primeira-dama, Onélia Santana, marcaram presença no Plenário 13 de Maio da Assembleia Legislativa para a solenidade de posse dos 46 deputados eleitos e reeleitos para o mandato do quadriênio 2019-2022.
Na ocasião, o governador mostrou otimismo na continuidade das relações com a Casa, que, na sessão, elegeu por unanimidade o deputado José Sarto como o novo presidente. “Não tenho dúvida de que fará um grande trabalho à frente da Assembleia Legislativa. José Sarto é um grande parlamentar, está há sete mandatos como deputado estadual, foi um grande líder do Governo”, disse.
Prestes a assumir a Secretaria de Cidades, o deputado Zezinho Albuquerque, que deixou a presidência da Assembleia nesta sexta, conduziu a sessão preparatória de posse e destacou a boa parceria com o Governo do Ceará, que tem gerado muitos avanços na vida pública cearense. “Desejo um excelente mandato para todos, e que possamos honrar nossos votos trabalhando para um Ceará melhor para todos”, concluiu.
O presidente eleito da Assembleia Legislativa, José Sarto garantiu que a democracia vai seguir como uma vertente essencial nos trabalhos. “Minha missão é formar uma chapa que dê representatividade, que mantenha a proporcionalidade partidária, que tanto quanto possível de gênero, e tenha uma compreensão política. É uma Casa de iguais, onde temos posições antagônicas, mas que precisamos respeitar”, afirmou.
