Os 46 deputados eleitos para a 30ª Legislatura (2019-2023) da Assembleia Legislativa foram empossados, em sessão solene no Plenário 13 de Maio, na manhã desta sexta-feira (01/02). A cerimônia contou com a presença do governador do Estado, Camilo Santana (PT).
O presidente José Albuquerque (PDT) conduziu a sessão preparatória de posse e convidou os deputados Marcos Sobreira (PDT) e Augusta Brito (PCdoB) para secretariar os trabalhos. Em seguida, os deputados eleitos foram convocados para prestar o compromisso de posse. Os parlamentares juraram guardar as constituições da República e do Estado, desempenhando com lealdade, dedicação e honestidade o mandato que lhes foi confiado pelo povo cearense, promovendo o bem geral e a felicidade pública.
