Um total de 1.011 empresas deixaram de informar, ao fisco estadual, o montante de R$ 1,19 bilhão nas vendas a crédito e débito, nos anos de 2015 e 2016. O secretário da Fazenda, Mauro Filho, anunciou os números em coletiva de imprensa na sede da Secretaria da Fazenda, em Fortaeza. Ao todo, mais de 30 segmentos foram identificados na operação que envolveu 400 auditores da Sefaz.
A maior divergência foi observada no comércio varejista, cujo valor soma R$ 750,2 milhões. O segmento de bares e restaurantes aparece na segunda colocação que deixou de informar a venda de R$ 115,4 milhões. A indústria, com R$ 83,4 milhões foi a terceira colocada no ranking das diferenças identificadas. “Com tamanha disparidade, o maior prejuízo recai sobre a população, pois há uma inevitável queda na capacidade de investimento do Estado. É preciso que esses empresários compreendam que imposto não pago significa menor investimento em educação, saúde, segurança pública e em todas as áreas prioritárias da gestão estadual”, argumenta o secretário.
As empresas identificadas na operação terão até o dia 31 de julho para recolher, espontaneamente, o valor do ICMS relativo à diferença. A comunicação já foi enviada para todas as 1.011 empresas, através do Sistema de Gestão Tributária (Siget). Caso o débito não seja regularizado, a Sefaz dará início, em 1 de agosto, aos procedimentos fiscais cabíveis, dentre eles fiscalização para o devido lançamento do crédito tributário, perda de credenciamento, além de outras medidas como multa de 30% sobre o valor total das vendas não informadas.
Durante a coletiva, o secretário Mauro Filho, anunciou ainda que o cruzamento das informações enviadas pelas empresas passará a ser feito, mensalmente, a partir do próximo mês de agosto. A operação cartão de crédito é respaldada pela Lei estadual n 13.975, de 14 de setembro de 2007, que obriga todas as operadoras de cartão de crédito a fornecer à Secretaria da Fazenda as informações de faturamento, por pessoa jurídica.
